It was a friday afternoon when my friend Jon and I decided to hop in the car and leave Sydney in the dust for the weekend in hopes of finding some good, uncrowded waves on the Central Coast. We should have researched on where to set up camp ahead of time because when we arrived at Moonee Beach the gates to the campsites were locked, so we were forced to drive up to Catherline Hill Bay and sleep in the carpark.

DO: Definitely bring a little camping stove and food. By doing this you will save a lot of time and money because the roadside cafes are few-and-far-between and expensive.
