Nothing defines Florida more than Daytona Beach’s Bike Week. It attracts over 500,000 people and lasts for 10 days. I was working just south of Daytona in a town called Port Saint Lucie when I got an invite from some friends that are from Daytona Beach to come to Bike Week. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity, so I got a few days off work and drove up the coast to see what Bike Week was all about. My friends there showed me an amazing weekend! It is literally non-stop fun, and I saw somethings that would definitely be banned in other parts of the country.

DON’T MISS: My friend’s uncle owns a bar called Sopotnik’s Cabbage Patch where there is coleslaw wrestling a few times during Bike Week.

SURF: There is surf in Daytona Beach. It is a fairly consistant little beach-break, and is a lot better than some of the other breaks in the region.
