The are certain experiences in life that you need to partake-in at least once, and one of them is to attend a boxing match in Tijuana, Mexico. My friend Beau invited to me to come along with him and a group of his co-workers to a boxing match in Tijuana to support their friend, George Ruiz, who would be boxing that evening. The name of the venue that hosted the event was Las Pulgas, which is located right in the heart of Tijuana on Avenida Revolucion. We purchased ring-side tickets to really make the most out of our trip, and also so that we could cheer on our friend. It was a pretty amazing experience because it was my first boxing match I had ever been to in my life, and it was also being broadcast on Telemundo, which is an international television network.

Just when were getting ready to head out in search of some street tacos we realized that the girl boxing was about to start, so we decided to stay for a bit and watch. I can safely say that I have never see girls hit with such force and anger!

EAT: Head to Mexico hungry because the delights you will find on the food-carts are amazing. I ended up trying adobada and carne asada tacos as-well-as a quesadilla and some chorizo.
