I’ve been to Whistler 4 times. Every time I go back to Canada I try and go somewhere different, but seem to always end up at Whistler/Blackcomb. I guess the reason for this is because the terrain on the mountain is so diverse and offers up so many different options. Oh, and Whistler village is pretty amazing for its apres ski or a big night out.

STAY: Whatever you do book your accommodation far in advance because the village is almost always booked out. If you end up waiting until the last minute you may find yourself staying far away from everything.

EAT: After a day of riding stop my Merlins in the upper village for the biggest nachos on the planet.

DO: Do go to sleep early if there is fresh snow predicted. The nightlife will tempt you to go out on the town, but you will thank yourself in the morning when you are the first person on the peak.
